From Claire on April 12th:

I am glad to report the bees are In good shape.

The hive was recently moved to a more sheltered site,  which was a risk, but appears to have paid off.

The hive has wintered well and is thriving on local blossom.

The brood frame is full and I hope the bees will start to work on the first super in this warm weather.
