The very first meeting was held on 2nd April 1974, and it is amazing that the club ran right until the pandemic in March 2020 (by various people).

The Club held its final Christmas Lunch on 9th December.  The club has been a great source of community support and companionship to many Stanstead residents over the years.  Very many thanks to Trish Theobold who with support from other residents, has run the club for nearly 40 years! Times change, but Stanstead Community Centre remains a thriving part of our village.
